Here's a link to a guy with great GD show pix. No, I am not
plugging his commercial pix sales. Although I hope he does sell some.
This link is to the famous 7/2/88 show - were you there??
If these pix of the Shakedown scene doesn't give you a flashback nothing will. Wow, don't be suprised if a tear comes to your eye. Must be all this smoke in here. We're not likely to see days like this again anytime soon friends. Enjoy.

Thanks, Doc. These brough back a flood of great memories. Even saw a couple of folks I know, or knew might be a better term. Really nice pics, thanks again.

Thanks for the memories. That was indeed a great time in Oxford. You know it must have been the 80's with that guy's Green, Larry bird, ball-hugging shorts. How can he breathe in those things?

this guy probably doesnt need a plug. he's one of the most prolific music photographers in the biz.

gone are the days .....

i was there for 7-3 . camped out along the railroad tracks . i need to someday get my pics out of the closet and stroll down memory lane again . i got some pretty good shots of the scene and the band too .

Was last great East Coast hangout in my opinion, still remember the mud and wearing a heavy sweater the night before the first show. Blessed Maine July weather.

Hoping our tents wouldn't catch fire the second night with all the fire works was memorable as well.
